Meet the founder

Nick Williams is the CEO of R.I.S.E. LLC and the American Subcontractors Association of Colorado (ASA Colorado). He has chaired the AGC Mental Health Working Group since 2021 and holds a graduate certificate in Total Worker Health from the Colorado School of Public Health.

Nick’s “why” is straightforward and urgent: construction can protect more than bodies. It can protect hearts and minds, too. Through R.I.S.E., he focuses on turning awareness into readiness by helping contractors, safety leaders, and HR teams address suicide and overdose as real jobsite risks with practical training, clear response tools, and culture change that reduces stigma and supports recovery.

Outside of work, Nick loves traveling with his wife and son, is usually with his Westies, Pacey and Joey, and is an avid consumer of all things pop culture.

“Nick has a passion for people, a passion for helping anyone he can. While he is conducting a training session, you can hear his passion in his voice and see it in his eyes. When Nick talks to you, he is actually talking to YOU not through you about how he can “fix” you. When he listens, he is listening to understand, not to respond. My team was extremely grateful for his insight into the construction world and how those in construction can really suffer in silence. Nick wants to bring you out of the silence and into the light so you can get help if you so choose to ask for it. ”
